Also I heard a take from a woman who likes these romance movies. That type of movie is generally watched by women but having 2 gay men makes it so the women can't put themselves into the story. She said that she would see the movie if she was going out but wouldn't make plans specifically to go see the movie.

And I'll add, I don't think my fellow gays particularly want to see a movie like this. It sold itself on stereotypes I'm super done with. Slightly camp gays having dating troubles? Nah sorry mate.

I prefer sci-fi movies.

Also back in the day brokeback mountain was really popular.

Like others say, mainstream gay films and TV are for women. I like some films about gay stuff(call me by your name made me cry like a bitch) but overall, yeah gimme some cool shit.
