As a biologist the "biology is on our side" bullshit annoys me more than anything else. They're smug in their ignorance.

Biology and evolution are emphatically against their nonsense, the only so-called "science" on their side comes from the social sciences which carry absolutely zero weight when pitted against a real science like biology.

The misrepresented facts they dish out deal mainly with the complexity of hormonal expression and the many ways it can malfunction, along with the absurd stance that genital birth defects are a significant source of information regarding the number of sexes our species consists of.

They also allude to a couple of horribly limited and horribly biased experiments that measured "trans brains" against their "cis" counterparts, completely ignoring that the participants weren't just glorified cross-dressers but homosexuals as well, and that the results of the study could have been predicted based on studies conducted a decade earlier on homosexual brains.

I know that scientists don't deny gender dysphoria being a real thing, but it really baffles me why so many in the medical field buys into the whole trapped inside the wrong body part.A question to ask you since you brought up evolution,do we know of any species that can be trapped inside the wrong sex's body?I have notice many trans activist have tried to argue of cases like clown fishes that can be able to change their sex, or they use a case of this one lion that was intersex, but none of that is proof of them being trapped inside the wrong body.It seems odd because the only way that i've seen trans activist argued as to why trans women are women is resorting to gender sterotypes which doesn't prove anything.

Gender dysphoria is a real thing as much as any form of body integrity identity disorder is a real thing, in that it is a mental illness related to the patients perception of their own body. It's not anything more than any other mental illness and only has it's own category because it relates tangentially to sex and monke brain thinks sex is super important.

The trapped in the wrong body stuff is a rehashing of the old mind/body dualism, it's the modern soul under a cheap veneer of pseudoscience.

There is an article posted in a scientific journal which the TRAs like to reference as proof that sexual dimorphism in humans isn't real. The article is written by a biologist but the article itself is not scientific at all. It is written as an opinion piece expressing how recognizing human biology is too harmful to transgender people so the claim is made that biologists should willfully ignore the science and use all vocabulary the TRAs want because speaking plainly causes so much harm etc etc.

The medical industry has signed off on this because of money and because wokeism has converged science and medicine. It’s not a coincidence that the scientific and medical fields magically always seem to come to the conclusions that media and ruling class want them to. Or the fact that any dissenting opinions coming from within the scientific and medical communities are immediately censored and faced with coordinated attacks to discredit.
