More proof they aren't looking for representation as much as they are looking to push a narrative that LGBTQ have no flaws and can do no wrong. Same reason why nearly all of the starring female roles as of late are mary sues. We are to believe that only straight and/or white and/or males can be terrible people.

Pretty much ever middle aged gay man I know has a whole list of stories where their got in a dodgy situation or nearly got killed. My friend's lodger was killed by a serial killer.     That’s true about them, for these people straights & whites can be only boring, bland oppressors. Back when I used to know certain LGBT people that narration about how stunning their community is was really getting on my nerves and even more after I cut ties. They will bitch about how making LGBT character evil or portraying a real-life person who was evil/depraved is hidden homophobia or something. Just like cancelling shows about brave and stunning lesbians is a hate crime.
