It's all the popular science shit. For the average dumbass science is like magic cause they don't understand it they just think it's real. So it doesn't take much to write some science fiction shit and pass it off as hard science and the idiots will argue it like it's real.

It's telling that the adds in popular science magazine are mostly erection pills.
