They don't actually have that high of a suicide rate, if it was really that high there would be no trans people in a few years. The study that sold that lie was highly flawed. When compared to people with similar mental health issues they don't have a different suicide rate to other non-trans people with mental health problems. They actually have the same suicide rate post transition, too. Transition isn't "literally lifesaving" in other words.
