The people who can't shut up about black transwhamen of color are at best concern trolling and at worse actually malicious.

I don't think this part is true. Dealing with these type of people is frustrating specifically because they are so emotionally invested in believing that TWOCs really are the ultimate oppressed class. They are performatively woke for the sake of presenting as morally superior but it does seem like they think that they fully buy into the narrative about how oppressed TWOC are.

The problem is that these people don't put any effort into at least trying to know better and do research into the causes and people they claim to rally around.

It always feels so superficial and fake...

It's a cult. They want to do the bare minimum and look virtuous while doing it.
