TIL Cleopatra was ethnically Greek, not Egyptian. Her ancestor Ptolomy served in Alexander the Great's army. After Alexander's, death Ptolemy stole the body & used it to claim legitimacy as ruler of Egypt. His dynasty lasted 292 years until Augustus Cesar defeated Cleopatra at the Battle of Actium.

The recon of the skull of Arsinoe, the teenage sister she had assassinated, showed her to be a mix of North African and European. Cleo was probably the same.

So a darker shade of Caucasoid than you see in Greece, but not by much.

Doubt it, Caesar had nothing to gain by fucking Cleo, except relieving his boredom. Her sister was also spared from ritual sacrifice by charming and winning over the crowd during a parade that was meant to humiliate her.

Yes it does, it reduces the likelihood you have symmetrical features and most other indicators of health which are pretty much the only universal standards of beauty.

"it doesn't necessary" = "it reduces the likelihood" = "not all of them do", I don't think you understood what I said. Anyways, we're talking about odds, you may be inbred and be completely healthy and look amazing. Odds of it resulting in disease etc are there and there is a chance that it might affect other things... So no one can be sure :). I rest my case.

Lots of egyptians (especially the christian ones) are ethnically greek. Maybe a bit of mixing, but it's still easy to see.

In the past the people around the Mediterranean were far more related to each other than the peoples inland. Sea travel was just much more safer and faster than over land. So they would have all pretty much looked alike and been interrelated. The difference between north Africa and the European Med only came about after Islam and Christianity divided them.
