You need to decide for yourself whether you want Saidit to be free from censorship by the US government. No other question matters.

Reddit chose to be hosted in the US & Voat decided for Switzerland. Only one remained as a platform for free speech.

You need to decide for yourself whether you want Saidit to be free from censorship by the US government.

Until it's decentralized, this is nearly impossible while both admins are living in the US. It's just a fact of life I'm afraid. We're working toward decentralizing it. It's as free as we can manage without getting in trouble with the law.

Even voat doesn't allow piracy links and other things that break US law...

Decentralizing the server so it's peer-hosted is the only real way forward in the long run.
