He was great. A kind, humble and friendly man who was easy to talk to. His other handles were /u/hennaojisan and /u/mifu. He pointed me to a mind-blowing website about Francis Bacon (which features Baconian authorship of the Shakespeare body of work). He would post the videos of Some Guy! here; those are great pieces of journalism, very to the point.

He called himself a grumpy old man and seemed happily married and always in good spirits. My guess is that he died naturally. A confirmation would be nice /u/chottohen if you don't mind sharing. And good luck with your grief. You can reach out in the chat when you need it.

He was delighted that he finally got to travel again this year. He saw Angkor Wat. His long-term plan was to move to Cambodia. But, like Moses, he got to see his promised land but never quite settle down there.
