I believe it is real, although I have no proof. Doesn't seem like u/chottohen to pull a hoax, the person who wrote the message didn't write in his style. That strikes me as a woman writing, although it's short. And he hasn't written for an entire month.

Contrary to u/jet199's experience, I have seen this done half a dozen or times or more. If I die suddenly someone is supposed to come on here and leave a message, dunno if they will or not, but it's supposed to happen.

It feels real to me too.

Although, I wouldn't be disappointed if I were mistaken. I wouldn't be upset if I were fooled.
