I did not know all that. It’s an interesting origin story. We agree on a lot. I don’t want to circle jerk.

I feel like majora7 has done enough. And some kind of subscribed change is just icing in the cake.

Saidit seems fine to me

Musky debates with his abusive emotions, not on substance. His above nonsense and lies aim for laughs. I wish he tried like that more often.

If you think that critical issues should be suppressed due to magnora7's arbitrary default list, then you are for censorship. Here are important topics that could be shared more widely on this "free-thinking, truth-seekign" platform, but are not. /s/AskSaidIt/comments/ackm/what_should_be_added_to_saidits_default_list_of/112rh

It's never enough. Collapse and war are coming and it will get much much worse. Doing nothing is not an option.

I understand your censorship argument. And I agree, the subscribed tab is a censored or curated part of the website. And since you are directed to subscribed, you are directed to a censored website.

I understand, and I agree with your argument.

But I think there are many factors that contribute to this topic:

  1. Has majora done enough?

  2. How does changing it, even further censor the website?

  3. What changes do you want? What exactly are you asking for? How does it contribute or fox the problem.

  4. Why can’t you just click s/all?

Why must magnora7 make it all up to magnora7 to decide?
WE are the people who make SaidIt what it is. Involve us.

Community self-management aside, if /u/magnora7 is actually a free-thinker and truth-seeker, then he'll improve access to the critical subs by including them in the default list. Otherwise he's an egotistical poser. This is NOT a big ask.

Why can’t you just click s/all?

Many people don't even know about /s/All.

I keep doing what M7 should be doing as a leader - communicating. I've reposted "Are you getting ALL of SaidIt?" repeatedly, frequently getting thank yous for it.

We did not make said it. I don’t know where you get that idea. Said it is Magnora’s website. He owns it.

Again, I understand and sympathize with your censorship argument. And I think directing everyone to u/all would be better than directing us to subscribed.

I’m not trying to be shitty to you, but this is his website, not mine or yours.

We did not make said it.

We are the community. Without us, SaidIt is just another empty forum.

Said it is Magnora’s website. He owns it.

That has never been under dispute.

And I think directing everyone to u/all would be better than directing us to subscribed.

I agree. I also know that covering all bases and NOT suppressing important information is critical to SaidIt's success, not to mention having the vital news reach people - especially in the harder times ahead. COVID was just a warmup.

I’m not trying to be shitty to you, but this is his website, not mine or yours.

I'm not trying to be shitty to anyone, and usually ignore those who are first shitty, unless they're habitual about it.

This is still OUR community.
