Well, this may be a little too much, but I wish for a more personalized profile. Like being able to choose an avatar and things like that. Besides that, everything is cool!

Avatar pictures, interesting idea. I guess your profile picture would go next to every post as well as comment you make?
I know some subs use "flair" and other pictures, maybe we could retool a system like that to be site-wide. Probably won't happen anytime soon, but that's how I'd approach it at least.
Just an idea, but if you (or anyone reading this) wants to experiment getting the flair system working properly in one sub, then we could spread it to be site-wide from that example.
Eventually people would choose their "flair" in their user profile, and it'd show after their name, in every sub.
I found this about how to do the flair: https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/wiki/flair
Not sure what is required to get flair working on a new subreddit, much less a new subsaidit.... if you (or anyone) figures out how to make flair work properly on a single subsaidit, and then teach me how to do it, I will take the effort to figure out how to make it site-wide if that's a feature the community wants.

I've been looking into that for the mod guide, couldn't get it to work quickly so I got on to other things. Seems to be easily doable though, will dive into it after the gamma release.

That would be super awesome if you could get it working and tested and stuff. I don't think it would be terribly difficult to stretch it out from that sub model to a site-wide model, once someone can prove it to work on the sub level.

Well, I'm not sure about that.
How it (should) work (as far as I understand ATM) is having the flair images uploaded in the stylesheet page and with some CSS give it an id (or class) you then have to assign (as mod) to a 'flair'-name and then (if it's open to public) anyone can assign one of the made flairs to themselves (or a post if it's a post/comment flair).
But yeah, you will hear it when it works ;) Because having the power of the flair, I could shill my sub in overdrive. Psst! Hey, want some flair eh? Come on over to /s/Internet

I have seen flair working here if that helps. The greymarket guys had it all figured out but they are no longer with us. I don't think anyone else has bothered or I would link you to it. Likewise I've never figured it out personally.

I can't find the greymarket and I broke saidit looking for it :p
