You're combining the objective with the subjective and obfuscating your meaning by switching between the two arbitrarily. When I say "reality" I am referring to that which exists independent of perception. Things that are dependent upon perception cannot be said to exist in the same sense. A person whose perceptions more accurately align to reality, that which is, is the more correct one and whose opinions will be more valid with respect to what is real. Perceptions may feel real to the perceiver, but that is not what we mean when we say "real". Until they are demonstrated to actually exist they're nothing more than imaginings.
