yeah, CO2 doesn't control climate, and the recent lock down proves it. Human activity world wide ground to a halt, but the CO2 levels as measured in hawaii continued their change as they have been for decades.

We could get deep into the 'science' - I'm fully equipped to go there, if you want to. I can debunk 100% of climate papers, even the deeply mathematical and pretending-to-be-valid-physics ones. Just like thousands of experts in their fields can do with the bullshit make believe that the IPCC spews.

CO2 is unrelated to temperature.

high CO2 always precedes an ice age.

The ONLY uncontaminated metric of CO2's "heat trapping" is the rate of cooling after sunset, and that has demonstrably increased as CO2 increases.

Gasses cannot exhibit blackbody or greybody radiation, radiation in the atmosphere cannot be fully modelled with a particle model (even Planck says this: "we need to use a wave model to fully undertand"). Specifically there are coherency and resonance aspects that are ignored by IPCC scientists.

its BS.

Gasses cannot exhibit blackbody or greybody radiation.

This is a 100% fact.

For an object to emit a continuous spectrum it must exist in a form which contain a lattice structure (solid, liquid).

This is proof that the sun's surface contains a lattice structure.

The sun is not a ball of gas.

I can't comment on the sun. I get the feeling it is a bubble, like everything else, and some serious extreme physics plasma fuckery is going on in the gravitational hell of the centre of the shell.

Transverse waves, did you say?

PLASMA, did you say? I have no idea why, but people ignore the most common form of matter when doing this seismological analysis of the earth and the sun.

Gas does longitudinal waves, too. By excluding gas and plasma from their models (quite why, I have no idea) they de facto exclude bubble/hollow models from their consideration.

Its all hollow :D

Oh jesus, you really should have at least tried to look up the numbers before coming up with this drivel.

Mauna Loa data is representative of the global average. We had some reductions in emissions in some parts of the globe, but globally most of the rest of our typical production continued as normal. This article, from actual scientists, estimates a 17% reduction compared to last years levels. A temporary dip of 17% isn't going to reverse the trend of rising levels of CO2, just slow it down a bit. That you think we should have seen some drastic change in recorded levels at Mauna Loa shows how far your understanding of the actual science and actual numbers is from reality.

We could get deep into the 'science' - I'm fully equipped to go there

No, no you are definitely not equipped to go there.

so you quote an 'estimate', yet reject the data. Okay then.

Show me the data. not the models - the models are fucked. Data.

a 17% drop in emissions is not a 'small' drop, and absolutely should be visible in the 'global average' (actually, not an average at all, but a direct measurement of the air in hawaii, but whatever). It isn't. That's because human contributions to CO2 are miniscule, so significant changes in them MAKE NO DIFFERENCE.

But way to go failing to address anything else I said.

The absolute measure of CO2 proposed warming effect is the rate of cooling after sunset. Which is... Increasing. The opposite of the proposed effect, and utterly in line with expected effects if you are not a delusional 'climate' joke scientist.

DUDE. You just made my friends' list. =D
