The problem with you morons, is you discuss one thing.

Post some fucking puppy pictures too. Focus on different aspects. You want a replacement for reddit. Well here it is.

Say your piece.. But constantly ushering constant attacks on one group of people, as your core mandate, is an issue for any platform.

Yes we are sick of white lives dont matter bullshit... So your response is to reciprocate on another Race?

Yes there are historical crimes. Yes some might still be criminals. But to label every Jew, as some sort of cabal, is doing exactly what the left does.

So if you cant tone it down.. At least know you are morons.. And you won't attract any independents.

Oh that's right... Your little non-cognisant comments, won't convince anybody. Sensitive topics like this, need actual facts rather than just dumping your word vomit.

Read Solzhenitsyn: Gulag Archipelago - Educate others on holomondor. Educate on history.

But parroting trigger words like a bunch of moronic 13 year old teenagers, won't get your point across... Especially when your arguments make some fundamental flaws.

So educate yourselves, then try educate others. It works better.

You're a bunch of virtue signaling idiots, just like the left.

[–]The_Ded 36 insightful - 2 fun36 insightful - 1 fun37 insightful - 2 fun -  (34 children)

Calling your opponents "morons" in the very first sentence of your post is not a great start for any kind of discussion. Why would any sane person engage in a conversation with someone who considers their opponents to be irreparably mentally deficient? Do you really think that your point is best conveyed with low-grade insults? Do you ever stop and think that maybe YOU are the main virtue-signaller around?

[–]Sand313man 33 insightful - 5 fun33 insightful - 4 fun34 insightful - 5 fun -  (30 children)

You’re not my opponents you dumb fuck. I’m for free speech. I’m for open discussion. But I’m also for embarrassing idiots. Thinking just because there is free speech here you can say anything you want and not be called out on your fucking lunacy.

Also the right isn’t as fragile as the left or as deluded. Unfortunately some of you here are dense as shit. As such, you need to be brought back to reality from time to time.

[–][deleted] 16 insightful - 2 fun16 insightful - 1 fun17 insightful - 2 fun -  (28 children)

you just also called him dumb fuck, off to call an ally that, one who is not an opponent.

[–]Sand313man 17 insightful - 4 fun17 insightful - 3 fun18 insightful - 4 fun -  (27 children)

Maybe I’m not his ally... he is dumb as shit clearly...

If you want to see where I stand on issue here’s my reddit sub: https://www.reddit.com/r/DoubleSpeak1984/

Knock yourself out.

But I’m not exactly going to befriend the dumbest people in the room.

[–]The_Ded 15 insightful - 1 fun15 insightful - 0 fun16 insightful - 1 fun -  (22 children)

"Constantly ushering constant attacks on one group of people" is a problem, you say? How come all the top posts on your little plebbit page only concern the niggers and the BLM movement, then? So, disliking blacks is fine, but disliking jews is crossing the line? How does being a shabbes goy feel?

[–]Sand313man 13 insightful - 2 fun13 insightful - 1 fun14 insightful - 2 fun -  (21 children)

I don’t dislike blacks. BLM has funding from CAIR and all contributions go to democrats. Most go to the pocket of Biden and Bernie.

BLM is a front.

Big fan of people like Candace Owens and Terry crews for example.

PlentY of black People oppose the BLM movement.

BLM has nothing to do with black lives actually mattering when most blacks are killed due to black on black violence. Reducing police leads to more black on black crime for great members of the community who are black.

But nice try, idiot.

You would think you already knew that? And you’re just trying to virtue signal like the left...

So familiar.

[–]bobbobbybob 11 insightful - 2 fun11 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

you are SO CLOSE to understanding. There's a final layer of 'backing', and it is an international cabal.

Not ALL jews are part of it, but those that are a part of it are ALL jews

[–]FediNetizen 8 insightful - 2 fun8 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 2 fun -  (18 children)

Candace Owens

When I watched her JRE special and watched her spend 20 minutes denying that most scientists agree with the notion that humans are the primary cause of climate change despite being presented with study after study showing they do, I saw right through her shit. She's not an "independent thinker", she's just another conservative pundit.

Same shit with her terrible COVID-19 takes (claiming the 100k-240k death projections were bullshit, when they turned out to be quite accurate), bragging about taking small needless trips and not wearing a mask, and her bringing up the fact that George Floyd had a criminal record, as if that in any way mitigated the fact that he was asphyxiated by a cop. That woman is a snake.

Edit: And we can add this shit. Outright lying about COVID-19 stats. The virus has already killed a quarter of a percent of NYC residents, over six times her claimed 0.04% fatality rate. Plenty of other areas with have similar numbers.

[–]bobbobbybob 7 insightful - 2 fun7 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 2 fun -  (7 children)

yeah, CO2 doesn't control climate, and the recent lock down proves it. Human activity world wide ground to a halt, but the CO2 levels as measured in hawaii continued their change as they have been for decades.

We could get deep into the 'science' - I'm fully equipped to go there, if you want to. I can debunk 100% of climate papers, even the deeply mathematical and pretending-to-be-valid-physics ones. Just like thousands of experts in their fields can do with the bullshit make believe that the IPCC spews.

CO2 is unrelated to temperature.

high CO2 always precedes an ice age.

The ONLY uncontaminated metric of CO2's "heat trapping" is the rate of cooling after sunset, and that has demonstrably increased as CO2 increases.

Gasses cannot exhibit blackbody or greybody radiation, radiation in the atmosphere cannot be fully modelled with a particle model (even Planck says this: "we need to use a wave model to fully undertand"). Specifically there are coherency and resonance aspects that are ignored by IPCC scientists.

its BS.

[–]Tom_Bombadil 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

Gasses cannot exhibit blackbody or greybody radiation.

This is a 100% fact.

For an object to emit a continuous spectrum it must exist in a form which contain a lattice structure (solid, liquid).

This is proof that the sun's surface contains a lattice structure.

The sun is not a ball of gas.

[–]FediNetizen 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

...and the recent lock down proves it. Human activity world wide ground to a halt, but the CO2 levels as measured in hawaii continued their change as they have been for decades.

Oh jesus, you really should have at least tried to look up the numbers before coming up with this drivel.

Mauna Loa data is representative of the global average. We had some reductions in emissions in some parts of the globe, but globally most of the rest of our typical production continued as normal. This article, from actual scientists, estimates a 17% reduction compared to last years levels. A temporary dip of 17% isn't going to reverse the trend of rising levels of CO2, just slow it down a bit. That you think we should have seen some drastic change in recorded levels at Mauna Loa shows how far your understanding of the actual science and actual numbers is from reality.

We could get deep into the 'science' - I'm fully equipped to go there

No, no you are definitely not equipped to go there.

DUDE. You just made my friends' list. =D

[–]Tom_Bombadil 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

The virus has already killed a quarter of a percent of NYC residents, over six times her claimed 0.04% fatality rate.

Every death is being documented as a covid death if the person "tests positive" using the fraudulent "tests".

Here's the official National Vital Statistics Services April 2020 Guidance for Certifying Deaths Due to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID–19)

See paragraphs 5 & 6 where they provide coroners with the new reporting requirements.

This section on the death certificate is for reporting the sequence of conditions that led directly to death. The immediate cause of death, which is the disease or condition that directly preceded death and is not necessarily the underlying cause of death (UCOD), should be reported on line a. The conditions that led to the immediate cause of death should be reported in a logical sequence in terms of time and etiology below it.

The UCOD, which is “(a) the disease or injury which initiated the train of morbid events leading directly to death or (b) the circumstances of the accident or violence which produced the fatal injury” (7), should be reported on the lowest line used in Part I.

So... if a swimmer is eaten by a shark, and the arm that is recovered tests positive for covid; then put Coco19 on line 1, and shark attack on line 2...

It's a hoax.

you're using doublethink on yourself to make yourself not criticize jews, because you know if you do you will become an unperson. This is why you are insulting people in this thread, you're mad at yourself for being a hypocrite. It is painful to admit. It is hard for you to look at yourself in the mirror. Is it weird that I just upvoted both The_Ded 's and Sand313man 's posts? Maybe I want this hashed out. Don't hide what you think it's true because it's "racist" or whatever. If both sides keep talking, honestly, maybe the rest of us can figure out which parts are wrong and which are right. Whoever doesn't have the stomach for it, needn't listen.

[–]takeyourjoyjohn 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Uh no not weird at all. They both have really good points. They may both be a bit brash but honestly, it's refreshing seeing the back and forth. I feel like this is how arguments should be. I feel like I'm learning from both sides the more and more I get opportunities like this. Insight into different perspectives.

why post puppy photos here? If one wanted to post puppy photos, couldn't they post them on reddit, where there are way more people to see it, that kind of content is not banned there. If you only want to talk about vanilla topics, non controversial topics, why not go to reddit, this is not meant as an insult like saying go to reddit, just a real question.

[–]Sand313man 17 insightful - 1 fun17 insightful - 0 fun18 insightful - 1 fun -  (11 children)

Because you want the fucking community to grow. Because we want a fucking place without nazi/antifa(same thing) Reddit mods over our shoulder.

Oh look - found a bunch of radicals here too.

That theory of a circle where the far right and far left meet - and are the same...

Identity politics check. Pc culture check..

Explain how you idiots aren’t the same as the leftist morons on reddit?

[–][deleted] 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

i'd want the community to grow but not with idiots that post puppy pics, no offense

part of pc culture is you may not criticize the ones who rule you. A big part of it in fact.

Puppy pics was an example ffs.. post about your stupid games or something.

[–][deleted] 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

again why not post about stupid games on reddit, more people and that kind of topic is not banned

Democracy means the citizens have some ability to discuss and influence policy in their communities.

There is a 100 year old plan (Kalgeri Plan) to reduce the homogeneity of Europe and dissolve Western nations.

The Kalergi in his own words:

"(European) man of the future will be mixed races. Today's races and classes will disappear due to the disappearance of space (nations) and time."The Pan-European plan of Kalergi envisaged the use of violent and disproportionate mass immigration, especially from non-European countries, in order to bring about a common European state dictatorship and the destruction of the indigenous white population - the nationalities of Europe.

Do people disagree that the demographics in Europe are rapidly changing?

Is it antisemitic to discuss the history of this plan, and the factors that continue to drive this change? Wikipedia indicates that it is, but we know who's controlling that propaganda operation... (Zionists Manipulating Internet And Wikipedia - some will find this shocking).

Is it antisemitic to show a local Israeli news station promoting a Wikipedia editing workshop?

Should citizens in European "democracies" be allowed to discuss factual history, and the resulting impact on current events?

Are "Democratic" societies no longer allowed the right to self-determination of their own communities?

In my opinion topics like this should be eligible for debate; without ad homenim attacks.

Censorship and ignorance is a weapon against the average person.

The average person is being intellectually disarmed.

[–]sudd3nclar1ty 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (15 children)

Like I said, do you. The count's scheme sounds...convoluted. I'm not even sure what I just read, that shit was muddy AF.

As the poster on the Reddit thread remarked, if you are against immigration, then be against immigration. It doesn't have to be a mustache-twirling plot hatched by counts and Zionists.

There are many good, realistic reasons to be against immigration, neoliberalism, genocide and organized religion. Shit I can support any one of those arguments with concrete reasons that have nothing to do with racist conspiracies.

It's tough to be taken seriously unless you accurately define problems and propose related solutions. Otherwise, this is just boring speculation and hate opinion disguised as pseudo-science.

[–][deleted] 12 insightful - 5 fun12 insightful - 4 fun13 insightful - 5 fun -  (6 children)

What does mass immigration have to do with the Syrian civil war? I guess you'll never find out.

[–]sudd3nclar1ty 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (5 children)

Neoliberal chickens coming home to roost? A little dash of drought and climate catastrophe. Proxy war between Russia and the west. Cruel leadership and human rights violations by elites.

If I was unlucky enough to be born in Syria I'd GTFO too. That place is a political shitshow. If western democracies were smart, they'd stabilize these regions so desperate people don't wash up on their shores. Instead we sell arms, invade their neighbors and let allies like Turkey crush the Kurds.

People aren't plants. They can move to safer places. Just wait til the climate really starts heating up and the real fun starts.

[–][deleted] 10 insightful - 4 fun10 insightful - 3 fun11 insightful - 4 fun -  (2 children)

Yes. So you see the mass immigration issue is much deeper and more multifaceted than being for or against it. What people are reacting to is a new phenomena that came directly from western involvement in Syria.

[–]bobbobbybob 7 insightful - 2 fun7 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

but why are western nations in Syria?

What race of people, embedded in governments worldwide, started those wars?

[–]magnora7 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Israel trying to conquer the surrounding region and using the US military as the tool to accomplish that? Same reason the US invaded Iraq, Kuwait, and many others in the region.

Now there's a mass exodus created by that war.

[–]Chipit 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Syria was destroyed because it was a threat to Israel. It was also a conduit for supplies to Hezbollah.

Most of US Middle East policy is to the benefit of Israel and the detriment of everyone else, including America.

[–]sudd3nclar1ty 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Can't argue with this. Israel has been wagging the dog for a long time.

[–]Tom_Bombadil 6 insightful - 3 fun6 insightful - 2 fun7 insightful - 3 fun -  (7 children)

The count's scheme sounds...convoluted. I'm not even sure what I just read, that shit was muddy AF.

Was the Zionist Hasbara/PROPAGANDA conference "convoluted and confusing"?

Zionists Manipulating Internet And Wikipedia

It doesn't have to be a mustache-twirling plot hatched by counts and Zionists.

Is the Israeli Propaganda Conference a "mustache-twirling plot hatched by counts and Zionists."

It certainly appears to be an Israeli conspiracy.

We're interested in hearing your Hasbara explanation for that???

Also, for anyone reading this comment. A common forum sliding tactic to suppress this sort of info from being read, is to change the voting priority through sock puppet voting.

We'll see if comment:

Black memes, nigger jokes, Mohammed is a pedo, We wanna kill Christ again... All kosher memes and free speech....

Goes down the list, as comment:.

The problem with you morons, is you discuss one thing

Gets sock puppet upvoted.

A convenient method of info suppression.

BTW: /s/Sand313man I'm not criticising your comment.
You're the likely beneficiary of the sock puppets op; collateral damage (benefit?).

[–]FediNetizen 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

"sock puppets"

Nah, I upvoted that shit because I can't stand racists and I agree with what he said. As you can tell by the fact that the original post was also highly-upvoted, there are plenty of people on saidit that don't like racists.

[–]JuliusCaesar225 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Is it antisemitic to discuss the history of this plan

No, because Kalergi wasn't Jewish.

[–]SeasideLimbs 24 insightful - 1 fun24 insightful - 0 fun25 insightful - 1 fun -  (23 children)

Idk if you would consider me one of those "people who say we need to stop with the anti-semitism" but I'd think antisemitic content is perfectly fine so long as it 1. doesn't turn illegal (e.g. calls for violence) 2. respects the communities on other subsaidits. There are a lot of radical feminists on this site, for example, but you'd barely notice if you're not subscribed to their subsaidits because they mostly stick to those.

[–]Sigterminator 17 insightful - 5 fun17 insightful - 4 fun18 insightful - 5 fun -  (9 children)

For a while there damn near every other post on all was “OH HAI I’M A REFUGEE FROM GC LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT MY LESBIANISM”

I still expect a big shitshow to come from the waves of new users expecting censorship for thing that make them sad. The current state of /all shows this is beginning. Can we censor people who call for censorship?

[–]SeasideLimbs 14 insightful - 1 fun14 insightful - 0 fun15 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

For a while there damn near every other post on all was “OH HAI I’M A REFUGEE FROM GC LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT MY LESBIANISM”

Fair enough, though that was only a temporary thing due to the mass-banning of radical feminist and LGB subreddits. Antisemitism and jewish conspiracy theories will not level off the way such introductions have.

I still expect a big shitshow to come from the waves of new users expecting censorship for thing that make them sad.

That's possible, though I hope there won't. It will be important for both sides to understand that individual subsaidits should have the right to censor things if they want to, while respecting others' right to create subsaidits where they post things they might find offensive.

[–]Sigterminator 10 insightful - 2 fun10 insightful - 1 fun11 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

I fully agree with one exception - I think the anti-semitic shit will start to die down as well once these folks get it out of their systems. My elementary understanding of human psychology leads me to think if one has been told they cannot talk about a subject and then then later find a place where they can, most folks tend to go a touch overboard at first.

[–]PRSanon 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Frankly, it'll never get out of our systems until the Jews lose their power over us.

I am meaning nothing genocidal of course, war and mass killings are unethical and have such extremely high costs.

[–]RedEyedWarrior 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Very well said. Let subsaidits censor within their own subs, but they should respect other subsaidits that contain offensive content.

    [–]FediNetizen 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (9 children)

Well, you'd barely notice because those subs don't show up on the /r/all feed. So you have to subscribe to run into them.

    [–]SeasideLimbs 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (8 children)

That's an interesting point. I never used to use r/all on Reddit. On Saidit, on the other hand, s/all seems pretty important for the time being given how relatively slow new content is to appear. Personally, I guess I would just deal with seeing antisemitic content on a regular basis for now. Subsaidits which feature a lot of it, like s/conspiracy, earn their right to being shown on s/all by not censoring dissent and that shouldn't be any different just because there isn't all that much other content to drown it out on s/all yet.

    [–][deleted] 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

over on reddit on r/conspiracy, which I am banned from, I see they still allow talk of the reality of jews running things. Surprising. I do think that gets banned eventually and then of course a large amount of that community might come here. The ones that run the world is ultimately the most important conspiracy theory and to just ban it from the entire internet is unlikely to work out so they are probably thinking of ways to mitigate it.

    [–]Bitchcraft 21 insightful - 4 fun21 insightful - 3 fun22 insightful - 4 fun -  (6 children)

The problem with some forms of anti-Semitism in particular is that it's just so repetitive and infects everything. What's going on in the mind of somebody who posts "DA JUICE DID DIS" all day? People who post this type of thing post nothing else. I'm a GC-fugee, but I don't just post my political grievances all day, so even if you mute all the GC subs, I'm a net contribution to saidit. But for many of the "DAE hate kikes" people, that seems to be all they have in life.

    [–]magnora7 12 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 0 fun13 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

I just want to also point out that people are deliberately posting low-effort racist garbage with the intent of destroying the information quality of saidit, as well. It's not just true believers who are dumb, it's also smart people using dumb propaganda to destroy the signal-to-noise ratio of this website. And the truly smart ones know how to do it without breaking site rules so my hands are tied in being able to remove them.

    [–][deleted] 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

I'm quite certain a lot of them are from /pol/ and voat with the explicit intention of ensuring apolitical or centrist voices never have any peace. The worst thing any extremist of any kind has to contend with is the open acknowledgement the majority think they're lunatics - which is why they do everything possible to make sure we can't be in peace.

    [–]magnora7 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Racism was a word invented first put into widespread use by jews during the soviet union to shut up White gentiles while they massacred them. So yes. This, unironically.

edit: so, I looked it up and I stand corrected as to who "invented" it, but it was propagated by Trotsky (a Jew)

    [–]FediNetizen 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

A trivial search on the etymology of the word racism says otherwise. I don't know why you would bother trying to lie about something so easy to check.

More importantly, though, the etymology doesn't change the current meaning, which includes hate against white people.

    [–]Extract 12 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 0 fun13 insightful - 1 fun -  (18 children)

Actual reasons they choose antisemitism, over other made-up problems (such as "bigotry" or "homophobia"):

    1. It's a legit concern for most users here - a good contern-troll needs to offer at least a somewhat real problem, even when jumping to an intentionally bad solution.

    2. It's a division point between most moderate-right/center and some far-right groups, and as such, the propaganda paddlers are hoping to farther divide their opposition.

People like you need to understand that you aren't in war against DA JUICE, but are actually under assault by expert propaganda companies who know their audience to a T.

People like you need to understand that you aren't in war against DA JUICE, but are actually under assault by expert propaganda companies

So much of the extremely off-topic, blatant, low effort anti-semitic comments (on the internet in general, not just here) feel like a false flag to frame communities as alt-right. That's why it tends to spill into everything, the "collateral damage" was actually the intended target.

    [–]Extract 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

That's because they are - actual far-right loonies supporting it is what makes this the (currently) most effective type of false flagging at the moment.
You just need a few dedicated accounts paddling this crap to either side (antisemitism vs SJW rethoric), and if it's allowed to stay and fester, the forum quickly loses legitimacy in the eyes of most users (see Voat).
This is probably the biggest strength of specific-interest forums like TheDonald.win - if you don't claim to be a free-speech forum, you can target those divisive shills at their roots.
On the other hand, actual free-speech forums rely on the users to constantly keep watch for those shills, which is much harder.

That theory makes a lot of sense. This could be an assault on this forum by shills that work for the rapidly dyeing reddit.

No it almost definitely is an attack. The odds of the more extreme elements (and their upvotes) being organic are extremely slim. And I say this as the site admin who has been carefully watching this for almost 3 years now

Wow well said. I am ashamed to say that seeing some of the hateful stuff was making me lose faith in saidit as well. But what you're saying is making sense.

It's helping me, instead, to look into these posts that originally made me anxious and shy away as an opportunity to gain insight and understanding. I'm learning that you can really learn alot when you read from the radicals and the rationals. The tricky part is staying grounded because, honestly, no one is immune to manipulation.

Interesting point on the false flag thing. I noticed the handful of accounts that are antisemities, all comment around the same time. I think your theory is credible. Do you think it’s to drive reasonable people back to mainstream platforms?

Maybe it's one person or a small group that are shedding light on the topic. I've been wallowing in the shallow depths of the internet (ie hanging out on Reddit) for a long time, and I've never heard some of the details on zionism, etc that I'm picking up here on Saidit. Not that I'm convinced, but it's filling in gaps in the topic.

    [–]Bitchcraft 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Or maybe the antisemites are astroturfing. No way to tell.

    [–]magnora7 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yes you understand how this works. They post garbage that is technically not against site rules, and then use multiple accounts to upvote it and comment on it, to normalize it on the site. They then make posts that characterize the entire website "Saidit hates jews!" or "Why are there so many anti-semetic posts here?" (even though it's like 3% of the posts at most). And then people buy the bait and start thinking "that's how saidit is".

It's all a campaign to defame saidit and portray us as evil, by whatever means necessary. And they know if they don't break site rules they can kind of keep fudging it like this, pushing it farther and farther.

This is a flawed argument, it’s not an either/or. We can advocate for both stopping the anti-semitism AND the anti-white rhetoric. The type of dialogue you want to engage is the opposite side of the same coin. Right extremism looks at the top of the wealth distribution hierarchy and obsesses in jealously, left extremism looks to the bottom of the hierarchy and patronizingly victimizes out of warped sympathy. This type of worldview is extremely unproductive on their respective sides.

Also prevalent on both sides is the confirmation bias and the cognitive dissonance. Personally, I loathe hypocrisy and don’t dismiss my side when it applies a double standard. Don’t cast blame and don’t throw stones at glass houses. Self-reflect first and foremost. Take personal responsibility when you screw up, and own it and learn from it.

Constantly blaming someone else or some greater power outside your control is called an external locus of control. Research has shown that people who have an external locus of control are not as successful as people who believe they can shape their own destiny through their own actions. People who believe they can create their own destinies have an internal locus of control.

Basically I’m advocating for levelheaded and rational dialogue. I think this would benefit us and allow us to solve problems rather than casting blame onto someone else. Casting blame does nothing for us personally, it only makes us resentful and bitter. Someone else will not fix your problems, so when you whine and complain about it, you’re only hurting yourself.

Hopefully someone reads this and agrees that we should move towards a positive and productive dialogue.

I've read your reply here and I agree with you. You've also taught me about external locus of control and I'm wanting to look more into that.

In your opinion, do you think these back and forth arguments on platforms such as these (where there's no downvoting) helps or hurts your perspective? Do you think common ground can ever come from it?

    [–]Rationalmind 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

    Yay, I'm glad.

I do not think I can convince anyone that is obsessed with and believes in, an alt-right extremist identitarian ideology. Unbrainwashing someone requires you to have credibility with the person so they actually listen and care about what you have to say. These right extremists, like left extremists, are too absorbed in their own fanaticism to hear reason. It'd be like trying to undo indoctrination into a cult.

I wish there was downvoting button at the very least. The downvotes would at least hide and re-sort the identity politics conspiracies. Right now, the right extremists and their identitarian ideology is clogging up this website. I had to leave Reddit because of the left extremist identitarian ideology.

    Did I answer your question?

    [–]takeyourjoyjohn 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Yes you gave me a unique perspective into what you think would solve alot of issues across, not only saidit, but social media generally.

I think, personally, I'm scared of a down vote button. But my reasoning is because I fear being ignored or dismissed by having, even what many would consider, an innocent unpopular opinion. It's happened to me before on reddit and it sent me spiraling into a sort of existential, lonely depression. I know I shouldn't be that impressionable. So I'm wondering if the fear of a down vote button is something that needs to be overcome, or if there is a middle ground that needs to be discovered.

    [–]Rationalmind 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

You raise a good point about the downvote button being used on opinions that are different. I think a lot of people on Reddit misused/abused the downvote button. I noticed that many on Reddit would use the downvote button to disagree and often never bothered to engage with the opinion they disagreed with. I think part of the reason for that behavior is because Reddit is highly moderated, and that results in a certain passiveness/ laziness from the user because they would just downvote and then wait for their parent to come clean up the mess.

I like your idea about a happy medium. Perhaps if saidit tailored some s/all subs to narrow the content for posting and discussion, then we wouldn’t need a downvote button. For example, the politics page could be focused around posting new political articles and then discussing them (or something). Then those more extreme views when off-topic could be confined to their respective fringe subs. Maybe if saidit did this, it would lead to higher quality content and discussion for pages that appear on s/all.

Perhaps Reddit’s problem is that it has both heavy moderation and a downvote button which has led to a passive user base. Just a thought.

Even a lot of jewish people are against the "Jewish power", it is also against what most orthodox jews believe.

Had seen some interesting videos from "Morphonius", that showed how violent and racist the Israeli people are against jews of other races, or even orthodox jews that protest occupation. There are also palestine jews.

If you say that the palistines should have a place to live too, you will lose your friends and family. Especially if a Israeli jew marries a palestine. The media describes every palestine as a potential terrorist. But we don't see that racism in the western news.

Exactly. Israel and it's lobbyists are so incredibly powerful and entitled that I'm basically for whatever they're against. Same as us gov't or big tobacco or oil companies or Japanese killing dolphins. I'm sick of the abuse.

On the other hand, I am sympathetic to people who have suffered and just want to be left alone to be themselves and live in a half decent world for whatever time we have left until climate and civilization collapse.

Been through all that. Still, I don’t really want /all to be filled with weird Jew stuff any more than I think the cat ladies belong there. They have their subs where they can blame men without shifting up /all. Similarly the anti-Jew weirdos can happily do their thing in their subs.

One thing I would note is that I’ve seen more complaining about it than I’ve seen of the mein kampf brigade.

Rightoids are so good at understanding how dumb identity politics is, and how stupid it is to accuse a race/ethnicity of "privilege" and controlling society, when it's really just a small group of the elite that benefit.

And then they go on and make the same mistake and apply all the same rhetoric and logic to Jews.

Anti-white, anti-Jewish, and anti-black rhetoric are all stupid and all miss the point. Racism is a trick that turns ordinary lower class people against each other. Policies should treat anti-white, anti-Jewish, and anti-black rhetoric equally. If one is banned all are banned. If all are allowed, normal people should still point out that they're stupid.

    [–]dashiefan 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

To be anti-White is to discriminate or be against white people. Anti-anti-semitism and anti-white are different things. It is 100% possible to be against both anti-Semitic and anti-White views, in fact most people are both. The reason why most are against both is that they are against discrimination in general.

Now, I'm one of the people who thinks that we need to stop with the anti-semitism. Not because I disagree with it (although I do think that antisemitism is bad), but because I think we really need to post non-political stuff. I'm not saying stop posting political stuff, but this site isn't supposed to be for reading the same views over and over again, it's more supposed to have a varied range of content.

    [–]Grateful 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Since I am the one who created the "What's with all the anti-Jewish stuff on this site? I can understand being anti-Israel or anti-government or anti-media, etc." post, I'd like to make it clear that I am really disturbed by anti-white rhetoric that we are seeing in the media and in politics. I think it's racist and disgusting. I am against all anti-people rhetoric.

Just as my post stated, I can understand that people can be against certain governments, against certain politicians, and against the media. I never stated that I am interested in ending discussion about anything.

If the U.S. Govt did something wrong, would it be right to condemn all US citizens? I don't think so. That was the point of my post, and I am being 100% honest that it was a pure coincidence that another person made a similar post minutes apart from my post.

    [–]Jesus 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Agreed. However, being on twitter I see plenty of Jews pretending to be white supremacists, the latter not really a big issue, for I've never met a white supremacist or seen one that doesn't look suspicious to me. Let me put it nicely. They certainly are not members of the National socialist German Workers party, so who do they really stand with? Their rhetoric and behavior conveniently seems to help the Zionist cause.

Yet, these same "white supremacists" occasionally call for the expelling of blacks and muslims. The more you study them, the more they appear to be crypto-Zionists.

Always remember that the lot of the founders of the KKK were Zionist Jews.

The joke is is that Hitler, motivated by anti-semitism, killed about 24 million white people. If you are a sucker for race hatred and can't discern justice beyond race war , then you're just a pawn. Jesus knew this and is why he advocated non-violence.
