Even simple comments, saying things such as "I don't like this person, they abuse people", or "this movie was bad", are getting censored and labeled as "Potentially Toxic Content". The admins are trying to spin a narrative that it was an "accident", they were testing code for a new "chat room feature", and the code leaked out to the rest of Reddit, however this was proven to be a lie:

"It's adding the .comment.collapsed-for-reason css class to the comments. Chat messages aren't collapsible, and don't have the .comment class to begin with. So, yeah, pretty much no possible chance of that being the real story."

They started to back-peddle and are now silent and aren't responding anymore. The Admins tried damage control and failed, but the thread is still live at the time of this post - the majority of Reddit users aren't having it, left, right or center and are calling Reddit out on their bullshit. Reddit is digging it's own grave, and I'm happy to see it happen. Fuck them.

Reddit's new "Anti-Evil Team" is helping flag "Potentially Toxic Content" (the admin admitted this before the backlash was so large; go through their profile. "The Anti-Evil Team" soon turns into a "bug"):

"and the code leaked out to the rest of Reddit"

I hate when my code 'leaks out' to my other programs.
