Visible light (between Ultraviolet and Infrared / Thermal IR) : 300 GHz - 3 PHz
Terahertz radiation : 0.3 THz - 3 THz
Mircowaves : 3 kHz - 300 GHz
Radio waves : 30 Hz - 300 GHz
Radio frequency
5G NR (New Radio) is the communication standard proposal including lower frequencies (FR1), < 6 GHz, and higher frequencies (FR2), > 24 GHz. 5G networks achieve higher data rates using higher frequency radio waves, in or near the millimeter wave band from 30 GHz - 300 GHz, whereas previous cellular networks used frequencies in the microwave band between 700 MHz - 3 GHz.

4G mobile networks : 700 MHz - 2600 MHz
TV channel frequencies : 40 MHz - 1000 MHz
Aircraft emergency frequencies : 121.5 MHz + 243.0 MHz
FM radio broadcasting : 87.5 MHz - 108.0 MHz
Shortwave radio : 1.6 MHz - 30 MHz
AM radio broadcasting : 525 kHz - 1705 kHz
