This funny video shows how easy it is for scientists to hide behind concepts that have only names and no real practical value.

We see it being used in theoretical physics a lot, and in astronomy. But also in psychology, medicine and such. In these areas, there can be a lack of practical and clear tests. This causes more value to move to theoretical concepts and their names.

The first time I found this video (and the subsequent remakes) it led me down a /r/VXjunkies rabbit hole.

The amazing thing about the Turbo Encabulator that Dr. Fred-man forgot to imclude is that is also has demonstrated the unique ability to cure certain cancers. The way it does this is by utilizing its key electromagnetic plasma receptors into negotiating a field of chemo-strong, blood-cell numbing refractory processes, which in turn, annihilates the offending cells, preventing them from further reproducing the disease, and lowering symptoms of previously present internal illness.
It is believed that because of this phenomenon, capable only by this technology so far, that researches and healthcare professionals in the field will be on the distinctive path to discovering greater cures and treatments for more cancers. And who knows when, but they might even eventually eliminate and develop immunities for the tragically-notorious, ill-fating disease known as super-cancer, and ebola. The Turbo Encabulator does it all, they say, but we say: buy it first, and then let its technological marvels do the talking.
