LA Times? Lol. "It’s a beautifully designed car with no carbon emission..." Wait until John finds out how much emmisions it takes to harvest materials for those batteries. This crap belongs on reddit

There's a recent study that showed how the carbon emissions over 15 years from a well maintained ICE car are actually less than from replacing that car with a new EV. It's also worth pointing out that even though you're now driving an EV your old ICE car is presumably still in use by somebody else. You can't even try to pretend that you've managed to reduce emissions.

Save the planet? What a fucking joke.
