“Forgot” give me a break. How is ‘The Crying Game’ transphobic? At all? And the Buffalo Bill and Norman Bates characters are based on actual serial killers, such as Jerry Brudos, who murdered women and dressed in their clothing, and Ed Gein, who skinned women’s corpses and made them into skin suits and masks. But I guess it’s “transphobic” to acknowledge or reference history, just like it’s “transphobic” to acknowledge biology.

Yeah, that was right around the time of the Gamergate bullshit when most of this hit all the corners of imageboards, with mainstream media and politics jumping on the bandwagon for social skittles.
