Age restricting phones is a great idea...

that should have been done 30 years ago.

Like the invention of the gun, the genie is out of the bottle, and banning it is no longer an option.

There's too many phones in circulation. No phone company would willingly shoot their profits in the foot. The ability to use wifi as a substitute renders the "shit it off" argument mute. Homemade communication towers are stupid simple to build.

All of this ignores the amount of lives phones save each year, but the left already ignore this about guns, so whatever.

How about instead of wasting tax payers money on bullshit jokes they fund mental health research to stop shootings before they happen instead of attempting to mess with law abiding citizens?

I don't think a ban on cellphones for people under 16 would be a bad idea. Gives younger people a chance to learn how to stick to an appointment and keeps them away of social media for the benefit of the remaining users.

Him:

"In light of the dangerous and life-threatening consequences of cell phone use by young people, it is clear that persons under 21 years of age are not developmentally mature enough to safely possess them, just as the General Assembly has concluded that persons under 21 years of age are not mature enough to possess firearms, smoke cigarettes, or consume alcohol," his bill observes.

Also him:

His proposals would make it easier to bring large-capacity magazines into the state and to transfer them among family members. One measure he introduced would repeal the ban entirely.

He sure is taking out of both sides of his mouth. Or he's willing to be bought. Vermont should be embarrassed that this clown is it's Senator.
