I'm sure everyone here realizes, but you don't own anything you don't have a physical copy of. I've lost lots of music I "purchased" back in the early days that's gone now. They weren't going to fool me with movies.

And I think that also brings up one nobody likes to think about, games. People have massive Steam library collections that aren't any different.

Agreed, though I tend to trust Valve (Steam) a little more than some other companies though since they have a good record of being pro customer and they've said they'd release a patch to allow you to play your games if they ever shut down.
