I think most of the time in the politics sub, if someone mentions Hitler, they aren't actually talking about the actual Hitler. They're just using it in a hyperbolic sense to try and demonize political opponents, e.g. "If you oppose universal health care you are literally Hitler."

I don't disagree. 99.999% of the conversations will reflect this.

However, if that 0.001% increases, then some studio may be inspired to make another Holocaust propaganda movie.

The point is that their finger is on the pulse of public opinion.
