Hi All,

I was the owner / 'head' mod of the Sub.

I went to bed, woke up and the sub gone.

Traffic in the last month started sky-rocketing and had no idea how or where it was all coming from, but could obviously see it was left leaning subs coming in to see what was happening and obviously reporting the sub.

The typical death of any centre / right leaning sub.

**One tid-bit that I found interesting was I added 2 new mods to help out, did the usual background checks on post history and both were fine, no r/politics or r/news etc. Once the sub was canned, the Mod that was actually super-excited and actually helpful - his account has been deleted

I was just talking to you on PM on reddit. At around September 2022, I made a similar sub to yours, and that's how I met you. I remember adding you to the sub as moderator, but then getting cancelled by the admins sometime later. I can't remember the username or sub name, though.

I was inspired to start it by this moderator's ill behavior in /r/teachers https://i.imgur.com/1Ue6eQl.png

I went through reveddit (yes, it was still a thing before that got cancelled) and curated an invite-list based on who that mod was being a jerk to, and expanded it later on when I saw other mod misconduct. I figured people who said something against the expressed wishes of the mods, regardless of opinions/politics, were better to have around than the zombie-bot puppets who have no opinion of their own.

Such a shame about the sub, it's lasted for so many years and flew under the radar, once it got mentioned in a more mainstream sub - that was the end of it.

Didn't even give me a chance to say goodbye! haha

Well, if I'd written "Beowulf may be the single most boring thing I've ever read," I think you'd understand what I meant. That's the sense in which I am using "thing": that entire image you posted, of that Reddit moderator's history, may be the single stupidest thing I've ever read.

"Dude, you're hella banned" is a particularly weird, stupid, and trashy thing to write.

That's the maturity of people on reddit in a subreddit called /r/teachers. Basically the special ed kids running the forum.

I find the responses in the screenshots bizarre. For one, how can anyone honestly claim to not know how bad the censorship has gotten, there are plenty of entire threads with nothing but deleted comments.

How milquetoast must a person be to use reddit and never experience the banhammer?

Reddit used to make fun of 'normie fags,' but to even be on that site requires utter conformity.

Also, and I think this was in there, I see the sentiment a lot at any rate, it's weird how they all think people on the right collectively just fall for tabloid news, are evil, dumb, or some combination thereof.

I remember someone inviting me there on another reddit alt, but I forget which it was.

It was basically a sub that showed inappropriate moderator behavior. I found it when I got banned from /r/teachers by a mod with the maturity of a child calling everybody a nazi over some homo/tranny bullshit. I forget their name but it was something like "I am sick", it had the word sick as the last word. I used reveddit to save it, and created a new sub (can't remember the name) and invited all the people who got the same shitty treatment, and there I met a mod of /r/redditcensors.

I found it when I got banned from /r/teachers by a mod with the maturity of a child calling everybody a nazi over some homo/tranny bullshit.

Seems on point and in-line with Reddit's behavior I encountered. I've seen they ban everyone that reported a trans meme which said cis people and white people can't suffer prejudice. The ban tag was Harassment, and mods mental gymnasticed to call reporting transphobia.

Searched through my screencaps folder and found it. I even modmailed them telling them one of their moderator accounts was compromised by a child, and I got a nastygram from the admins for "harassment". Not making that up.
