That reddit comment doesn't seem applicable. The commenter's comparing not having the same body after 20 years and having two kids. OP is presumably much younger and has only been dating someone for a few years, and they had bed death a year into the relationship. That's not the years taking a toll on their body, that's them being unattractive to begin with, and probably becoming more so. Also, the dude's probably gay and she's his beard. I just cannot imagine staying in a relationship where after the first year you're clearly not sexually attracted to your partner.

Even when I've dated women who my friends didn't think was as attractive as I thought they were, I became more physically attracted to them the longer we dated and the more I fell in love with them. Sounds like OP and her boyfriend are both gross redditor types, and she probably has a hygiene issue on top of the weight and hair, he's probably gay so he's content with a sexless relationship with a gross fat chick to be able to say he has a girlfriend.
