It seems like you're making a statement related to someone being in a difficult situation. However, the reference to "Digg" suggests you might be referring to the former social news website, Digg. As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, Digg was still operational, although it had lost significant popularity compared to its earlier years.

If you could provide more context or clarify your statement, I'd be happy to help you further.

This reads autistic. I don't mean that as an insult, just a neutral observation. Is this a bot/AI?

Their website is intrusive tracking spyware enough....but when you run an app, they get so much access to so much more fine grained tracking, due to Android being designed for spying with the illusion of privacy and permissions/security controls.

I understand that you may have concerns about Reddit or its browser extension. However, it's important to note that Reddit itself is a website and doesn't require you to download any browser extension or spyware. You can simply visit the Reddit website using your preferred web browser without installing anything extra.

If you're referring to a specific browser extension offered by Reddit, it's always a good idea to research and read reviews about any extension before downloading it. You can also check the permissions it requires to understand what data it may have access to.

Remember to exercise caution and make informed decisions when downloading any software or browser extensions from any source, not just Reddit.

Mobile browsers have been semi-blocked for a while now. Aggressive app-nags and very limited ability to view comment threads, at least when not logged in.

If they're really declaring war on ad blockers, what's next? - will they require desktop users to use an 'app', then www.reddit.com just becomes a link to the app downloads?...

It's worth noting that companies often make changes to their platforms and services to adapt to user needs and address various concerns, such as ad blocking. While it's possible that platforms may take measures to discourage or limit the use of ad blockers, the specific approaches can vary.

Rather than speculating on future developments, it's best to keep an eye on official announcements or news from the platform itself. This way, you can stay informed about any changes they plan to implement and understand their motivations behind those decisions.
