I was banned from reddit for stating that child abusers and rapists should be executed. This is not an extremist position and plenty of pro-execution states would make these capital-level offenses if they probably wouldn't get instantly overruled by the Supreme Court or psychotic appeals levels federal courts.

I stand by that remark.

You should never ever have been banned for saying something like that. Unless you were using terms like "summary execution" or something like that, suggesting people shouldn't have due process. But to be banned because your political belief is that people should be executed after being convicted of certain crimes? That's insane and it just shows that reddit is seriously off the rails.

I would send you a link to the comment, but it was deleted by admin. I assure you that, in my seven years in Reddit, I never once advocated against due process. I demand due process, but I believe that due process means that if you're guilty of raping a child, it's execution for you.

Yea, I don't see why people have such a tough time with this one. If they do the crime, they gotta be ready for the consequences. If that's the death penalty, then so be it.
