I half expect the forum posts to be all mostly deleted, and the father called a MAGA bigot by all the bots on Reddit.

If the OP text is real... it seems suspiciously overly friendly though, and gives off a slight vibe.

There's no debate to be had really. Taking someone else's kid on a car ride against their parents wishes is essentially kidnapping.

I don't know if the parents down the street are actually grooming the kid or not but it has all the red flags of it.
