The US GOP have worked for the past 40 years to promise this overturing of the compromise RvW, in order to get votes from crazy far right religious people who turn a blind eye to abuses of the GOP, in order to push a religious agenda that's not Christian in the least. Without that agenda, the GOP know they cannot get sufficient votes.

The percentage of 'pro-life' women is recently (2021) approximately 43%, which is 7% less than the percentage of 'pro-life' men. And of that 43%, 78% are 'conservative', only 17% are liberal, 75% attend religious services weekly, and 62% have not attended college. This is informative of the kinds of people who have time to answer a Gallup poll, it's informative of the percentage of votes for Trump and similar rapists. 40% of US individuals support the overturning of RvW.
