Technically, they can always know you are the same user despite VPN or Tor usages, using different browsers, etc. Fingerprinting is a massive inescapable beast.

I see. Different device then would be required, that I have never used from my main account?

Is that an especially labor intensive process, such that the risk is small?

They likely employ a third party service to do extreme user finger printing. They'd tell you it is because of spam, but with their focus on being a highly sophisticated censorship and propaganda platform, they will find many areas of benefit. This can usually reliably grab uniquely identifying fingerprints about your browser and device, include supported fonts, supported SSL ciphers, and video card details. It's not worth trying to obfuscate and work around this, using a second device and a VPN seems the only way.

I can post queries to my girlfriend who can then post on her on her computer I suppose.

Do you agree it is pointless to even ask for then to rescind the ban?
