Holy shit the comments on the YouTube video are absolutely merciless! Please remember that this was the person that r/AntiWork collectively chose to represent them

Neltins 4 minutes ago Dumb *. Literally ruined the entire beginning of the first true growing internet anti work culture & community. They never even briefed anyone that they would be sending this little fer to interview with Fox News, he just wanted his 10 minutes of attention & fame lol what a fool, they milked him dry & put him out like a dead cow. Then they went and perma banned 100s of people who called out the silly mods on their little sub, shut their subreddit down to stop hearing the backlash of all the community members they were abusing & misrepresenting.

April Marie 4 minutes ago (edited) SO MANY people were following this movement from the heart. People like me, who have degrees and want to learn more skills and work in comfortable environments while also having work life balance. The anti-work movement that talks about doing MEANINGFUL work without feeling like slaves - that's what we were all behind...

But this lazy, entitled, safe space needing, 'I only want to work 20hrs doing medial tasks for the rest of my life' gets on live TV and is absolutely SHREDDED by rhetoric.

Buddy - he wasn't asking you any of these questions because he was actually interested in learning about you. He asked you what you do for a living because he knew you don't actually contribute to society. He asked how many hours you work because he knows you're only willing to put in the bare minimum ALL the time. and you literally made all of US - look like you. So thanks fuck hole.

I personally am SO PISSED. This person - jesse waters - needs to start a sub called '/r lazy and confused' - because THAT is what they represent.

EDIT: ohh, you wants to teach philosophy? You do realize, sir jesse, that you have to go through 4 years of school, than 2 years of school, than another 4 to 6 years of professional level schooling just to get that qualification? and you wanna know something too - you have to WORK to PAY for that. Like??? How backwards....WHY...any other person on the planet could've represented us. Why did it have to be like this. I. Am. So. Disappointed.

M 2020 1 minute ago Fox News hoped for a clown and got the entire circus instead.

Temido2222 1 minute ago Fox gave him the rope and he hung himself

So typical of these spaces when they pick someone to venture into the outside world and then as soon as their fantasy politics hit reality, like an egg hitting the kitchen floor, they turn on that person viciously rather than reassess their ideas at all.

I've seen the same thing with a trans Instagram account. They asked a trans questioning girl to interview a TERF and then when they didn't like the answers they attacked her so badly she not only left the group she turned TERF herself.

I've been trying to find the truth about u/AbolishWork being chosen for the Fox interview. The mods of r/AntiWork claim that they turned down the Fox interview invitation and u/AbolishWork decided to do it anyway. u/AbolishWork claims they were requested for the interview by name and the other mods agreed. Whatever happened, r/AntiWork is dead now - which is hilarious.

Thats actually quite sad. They were asked to do an interview and then were attacked for doing the interview by the very people who asked them to do the interview

OliviaYellow heart @terfalicious . Aug 21, 2020 Some of the commenters were even turning on Amy for conducting the interview and accusing her of being a terf.

Keep in mind—these kids VOTED to hear from a terf AND they submitted the questions we answered. Yet somehow, Amy is a terf for doing exactly what they wanted?! 14/

TROONS: Cant live with them. End of Story
