Should I remind you that the progressives classify ANY self-assembled citizen militia ( like the one that repelled the domestic terrorist in Kenosha ) as a "White Supremacist Far Right Terrorists" ? The 2A was meant to provide citizens a way to fight against those who were went on destroying and undermining the US constitution and the principles over it was founded, be it an EXTERNAL OR INTERNAL threat. I would say that the 2A did a pretty damn good job on Kenosha that night.

Mad Pirate - Rittenhouse was not part of a "well regulated militia," as we know, and thus the 2A doesn't support what he did. He was acting as a vigilante, which is what Madison wanted to protect Americans against: against mob violence from vigilantes, as well as monb violence from the 'Federal' government. He and many like him were balancing the approaches of the constitusion by regulating against extremes, favoring instead a regulated populace, militia, and federal government, as well as 3 major branches of government, and a democratic party system. No one wants a Rittenhouse in their neighborhood, walking up to people with ARs and creating dangerious situations were it's likely to lead to murder.

So the guys that disrespect the founding fathers so much that they call them "slave traders" and who think that the US Constitution is so worthless that is has to be reinterpreted by "modern culture" as a "living constitution" suddenly know better than the Founding Fathers themselves what is the spirit of the 2nd Amendment ? ( which is by itself ironic, since the Founding Fathers already established what the spirit of "militia part" of the 2nd amendment in the federalist papers, more specifically Federalist 29 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federalist_No._29 ). It is obvious that the National Guard did not acted as it should have in Kenosha or nothing of this sort would have had happened, therefore it was up to the citizens to defend themselves from the domestic terrorists burning down their city. That's what Kyle and other did and they were on their right to do so. In that sense, groups like "The 3 percencenters" or "Patriot Prayer" who is well known train regularly fill the void left by the inaction of the National Guard ( when for example, Democrat governors fail to activate them in fear of upsetting the Progressive Status Quo ). Again, they are perfectly in their right to do so. Besides, when country kill commies, it becomes a better country.
