It was a difficult case to argue. If the prosecution could not prove for the Rosenbaum homicide case that there was indeed 'reckless endangerment that led to homicide', then they would have failed with the other charges.

When watching the trial, one noticed that the prosecutors made various mistakes, and that the judge was potentiall biased, and that much of the trial really unprofessional. It was not a proper trial, and the prosecutor's team were a very big part of the reason for the shitshow. That said, the defense team wasn't much better. The jury was distracted by a lot of unprofessional behaviour. The reason it took them so long to decide on the case is because there was substeantial evidence against Rittenhouse.
