I was thinking of men there, but even with women you still see it. Standards are a little different. Not a cute young woman who hasn't had a boyfriend in a while kind of lonely. I mean femcels, some crazies, severely depressed women, single moms, and older women kinds of lonely and desperate. It just turns off that little persistent voice that says "but I got a good shot to get laid here."

Used to call them Red Alerts at one place I worked. As in Red Alert, scatter, cause that chick is here to desperately hit on all the guys again. Even if you're really horny some lizard part of your brain says "not this one, Klaus." Occasionally alcohol has been known to shut that pesky brain down so you can have a truly regrettable hookup.
