Yeah, I mean I'm sure it was appreciated by the mother. Any time of day where you can tap your partner in to take care of shit is much appreciated when both of you are at wits end and exhausted. When we're celebrating someone else's bare minimum effort to make sure that their child is still alive because society doesn't expect that as a default, it's just weird.
