I'm glad you're talking about this since you have a unique perspective on the matter.

Calling someone transphobic doesn't make them transphobic.

True but it does turn people against them. Lots of otherwise liberal people have been called transphobic for asking questions, the "trans shield". People who would otherwise be allies.

Not directly but as I wrote above, people are getting sick of so many accommodations for 1% or less of the population.

Liberals and Communists call anyone they disagree with "transphobic" or "racist" or an "actual fascist".

There's been lots of arguments about it.

I remember the point that because America was founded on liberal principles they can call supporting those principles conservative while most old world countries can't.

In the UK the conservative party was literally founded to push isolationist/anti-free trade policies.
