Diluted urine makes excellent fertilizer, but too much will kill everything. Must be a build up of something that gets too high in concentration for the plants to handle after a while. I imagine peeing from height dispersed the urine enough in this case that wasn't an issue.

I do find the post mildly interesting, it has an interesting application for survival scenarios if you find yourself having to grow your own food without commercial fertilizer.

Feces is of course an ancient fertilizer too, but the problem with using human shit (looking at N. Korea here) is that it becomes a vector for the transmission of parasites.

Boil All Things!

Boiling piss smells awful. In ye olde tymes you sure didn't want to live next to the piss plant. Hell, actually I often drive past a modern waste water plant and the smell is pretty horrific. Guess some things don't change.

Horse piss is used industrially to make birth control.

    Oh.

That's inefficient. What you want to do is lose millions of brain cells in a single go. I suggest drugs and alcohol, but Fox News also works.

If you really want to lose some brain cells, then hop on Reddit or Twitter — or just watch CNN. Every time YouTube tries to force that down my throat: I lose a few braincells.

The good thing about CNN is it's predictable. Easier to filter those nuggets of truth out.

A note on that video, the type of wood ash matters. And I don't remember exactly which ones you want or why, but I do remember when my brother used to do this, some of the ash wasn't suitable for some reason.
