It will be if we keep it that way. It's so easy for a website to go full SJW or Neo Nazi without diversity of opinion though. That is why we all need to respect the parimid of discussion. Also we should try to like more none politically related content if possible, as to appeal to a wider user base.

Unfortunately as this site grows it will become dependant on advertising for server upkeep. At that point they will become just as susceptible to these cancel cultists as all the other sites. Even if advertising is not used, they can go after Visa, Mastercard, Patreon and Paypal. They have this shtick down to a fine art.

Donate, and advertising will not be needed.

Another possible alternative: an equivalent to Reddit gold. It's not perfect, but at least it's not advertising, and it could be purchased with cryptocurrency to remove any reliance on payment processors.

Saidit is pretty good right now. It is mostly devoid of the really crazy overt racism you find on voat but isn't experiencing the censorship and compression of thought like Reddit.
