Adblock works great against that. Just can’t use their app

Adblock does not work against that, that's exactly the problem. These ads are presented as organic user created content and allowed to be boosted and manipulated by reddit and moderators.

Frankly it’s been happening for some time now. Not officially through reddit but many game creators use bots to promote their games on subreddits devoted to such. It sucks cock.

I use Pihole and it does nothing against those ads on my phone... Does anyone know how to block them?

On a phone it’s probably impossible on a PC u can do stuff
