what exactly is the goal of s/lgbdropthet? Is it like a circlejerk/venting sub? I think I saw a comment saying it was for hate-bonding

It is a discussion and support group for people who are lesbian, gay, and bisexual and who want to "drop the T" i.e. who are against transgender ideology. But you can post about LGB topics that are unrelated to anything about transgenderism. E.g. a lesbian teenager posted about her Polish parents not accepted her, the other day.

It is not for "hate-bonding," I'm curious where you saw that comment? Sounds like something that r/actuallesbians would say, lol.

Here's the comment. I don't think she meant the "hate-bonding" thing in a disparaging way. She just stated it matter-of-factly. I guess she's technically correct.

Ah, yeah I remember that comment. It has a focus other than just being a member of a demographic group, that's true. I would not call it that but I agree with the rest of her assessment.

I’m definitely going and joining there instead of here now. I’ve had multiple people attack me in the comment section for speaking out and saying we shouldn’t invalidate the sexuality of sexual assault victims. So messed up
