I identify birds by sight and sound. I'm talking hundreds of those bad boys. It was just a hobby/interest years ago but it turned into some paid seasonal jobs too. It's a big part of most of my days, nearly every day I visit a nature trail for an hour or two to see who is there and keep track and put my data into a website.

Knowing even one bird species impresses me even though I'm at some advanced level! I'm happy when anybody even notices birds!

I think when the quarantine finally lessens I will possibly get together some beginner birding trips.

i took an ornithology course last spring and it was so fun. i can finally tell the difference between a few of the hawks. and tell the difference between the different dove calls. i learned so much. :) birds are such a diverse and beautiful group. birding trips sound fun!!

Thats cool, I always leave food out for little birds, no clue what types they are but they're certainly cute!
