I have a K-cup bra size and go in at the waist and back out at the hips so keeping buttons closed on garments is a no-go unless I buy something so big that I lose the rest of my torso in it and become a box.

I like to wear a tank top underneath with a short-sleeve men's button shirt or a long-sleeve men's flannel worn open on top of it - then I have a nice mixture of still having a shape without things being too tight or loose in places.

I have the same problem. I either use men's button ups open with a shirt underneath or wear them inside of a mid/high waisted pant. If you want a button up that really fits well and won't look like a box you'll either need to get a loose one tailored or if you're lucky you'll eventually find them in the women's section. In my experience at least men's button ups will never look fitted if you have big boobs and a waist. With a normal long sleeve shirt or a jacket is a lot easier. Sometimes they'll be long in your arms or the jacket won't look good closed but that's never been a problem for me. I live in somewhere warm though

I’m an F Cup and I love the men’s slim fit button ups at target! They come in short and long sleeves and fit very close to the body compared to standard fit men’s clothing And other brands I’ve tried. I also don’t wear underwire bras which reduces the gaping that can happen in the boob area with any button up shirt. I do have to leave the last button undone to have them fit over my hips but I wear them tucked into pants so it doesn’t matter. Get a size smaller than your size in women’s.

I haven't tried them myself (I am not very big on top), but I heard that Brooks Brothers shirts are very roomy.

Men thermal shirts are form fitting and very comfortable in the winter.

Cup size alone doesn’t say much. I’m a 30DDD/30G in US sizes depending on the bra and I’m not porn star-looking. I also have narrow hips so I’m unbalanced. What is your band size and ratio to your waist? Also UK and US sizes are different for example there E is different from DD whereas in the U.S. E=DD. So what sizing system are you using?
