Sexuality can be hidden (unless you're uncontrollably flamboyant).

Race cannot be hidden (unless you're ethnically ambitious or white-passing).

Sure, living in a homophobic environment can be stressful... but antiblack racism is far worse.

The erosion + erasure of lesbianism (in general) is antifemale sexism + homophobia... but antiblack racism + antifemale sexism is so much worse, even just on Reddit/social media.

Y'all should lurk black women subreddits to read about what straight black women endure.

Wow, that comment is fucked up. Well, of course that's not a normal view though. It's true we can hide, but still hiding is bad and living lying cause people hate you is miserable.

It's still not comparable. A white lesbian couple can live relatively peacefully for decades whereas black women (especially black women involved with men) cannot live relatively peacefully. A black woman is more likely to be affected by antiblack racism on a daily basis throughout her entire life... 7-10 decades of it.

I can't argue, even though a lifetime of hiding because people hate who you are, isn't very peaceful

A very simple example of what I'm talking about is the Williams sisters, Venus & Serena, versus white lesbian tennis players. If you actually think what they endured is relatively comparable... shame on you.
