"The fact that most cis people would not consider trans people as potential dating partners is yet another serious risk factor for increased psychological and physical health problems among the trans population."

This is super messed up. Placing responsibility for other people's physical and mental health onto the shoulders of people they would like to date is so fucked.

The physical and mental health problems that they ALREADY have are a HUGE factor as to why I won't ever date a single one of them (plus I wouldn't date a transbian in a gazillion years). I sat in on some LGBT support group meetings in my area and every trans person there was so massively screwed up in the head, and not just due to being trans. The thought of having to sit in the same house with any of them for any length of time seemed absolutely miserable af. They were already fucked up long before lesbians or "cis" people ever rejected them as partners, believe me.
