I'm trans, but I hate when companies do this. If it wasn't trendy they wouldn't be doing this at all. They don't give a fuck about LGBT issues, just about manipulating queers and SJWs into buying their products.

And all they did was stack some Oreos with different colored fillings, hardly the definition of substantial. If they actually cared, there are millions of other things that are millions of times better — but instead they did something a toddler could do that impacts literally no one.

And regardless, they should just stay out of politics and social issues. Your job is to sell cookies, not sexualities and gender identities. I've never liked the idea of money in politics, and I don't like the idea of companies influencing it in other ways, either.

No amount of taxpayer funded "for your own good" Jamie Oliver healthy eating public information campaigns can make me stop eating sugary foods. But it only takes one "yikes! yass queen" from corporate bluechecks. This is an example of the free market achieving what the government cannot.
