I don't know how the legal system works in Japan, but couldn't couples get around the inheritance issue with a written will?

Should we make all couples sign a contract before they get married promising they are going to have children? Then if they don't, we nullify their marriage.

I assume yes, but maybe other family members take precedence or can at least take it to court.
