This is something i started a LONG time ago but i ended up spending lots of time back then figuring out a format to pull everything together so it could be shown in a reasonable way. Then sifting through the crime stats took some time and at that point i got that foundation ready and then put it aside forever. I have some free time this week and decided to pull these old files back up and here we are.

Originally i wanted to put this together because there was a constant "trans genocide" narrative and simultaneously a "cishet white males are oppressors" narrative. Keep that in mind and notice that gay men have been and are the most at risk group in the crime stats. One other thing is that i just finished this and i have not looked int other methodology of the stats. My initial suspicion is that much of the anti-(gender identity) stats are actually anti gay man stats being hidden by the self perception of the person who the crime was against. Like when you talk about a guy who might punch a "man in a dress", the assailant is doing it because "this guy is a fa***t" but the cops get called and the person is like "i got punched because transphobia."

Digging through the methodology might take some time but i am a bit over working on this for the time being as the data extraction process was a bit annoying.
