Most of the witnesses involved in that case were TQ+ and people who were linked to transactivism, which is not exactly what I would call a "normie crowd".

I agree that it's not a representative sample of the general population. However, I think it may actually be a much more representative sample of the types of people who get quoted in media articles. I can't show you a sample of people I've met in real life and their views; and unfortunately, til there's more data on attitudes towards LGB people that actually specifies that sexual orientation is defined on the basis of sex, we can only speculate about prevalence. Comments sections on news articles are sometimes more supportive-- but those are not population-representative samples, either.

Most everyday people would find an AGP trying to shame a lesbian into fucking them objectionable in the same way they find the "traps aren't gay" bs to be objectionable: they know that sexual orientation is based of biological sex and what males and females are.

I'd hope so, but the problem is that most people 1) don't believe this is happening and 2) don't believe that transwomen would ever do this, because transwomen have been pitched by left-biased media as the most oppressed minority group ever.

The average joe view on TQ+ issues is outdated and that needs to change. People need to know about AGP and how these people are preying on lesbians and how Aidens are doing the same to gay men.

Completely agree. And yes I agree there needs to be much more talk of how this is harming gay men. There is a view trumpeted by some in the GC/radfem movement that female detransitioners are all "poor innocent children" who cannot be blamed at all for transitioning... yes, some were children, but some are adults who freely made the decision to fetishize gay men. Their actions are creepy and deeply homophobic. And it's honestly infantilizing and condescending as hell, as well as unrealistic, for some people to suggest that none of the female transitioners had any agency whatsoever in their actions. (This has unintentionally turned into a rant, sorry.)
