Asexuality can very much be a medical condition. The first step for someone who thinks they are asexual should be to go to the doctor. Anyone around them should encourage them to go to the doctor. This is not conversion therapy, this is important medical advise.

89% had avoided being open about their sexual orientation

The people who need to know about you being asexual: 1. Your doctor 2. Any potential romantic partners if you're the "I'm asexual but still date people" kind of asexual.

That's it, that's the whole list.

It's also not covered in the UK Equality Act 2010.

Ok, what discrimination do asexual people face that would require them to be written into the law? How would an employer be able to identify and discriminate against an asexual employee for example?

Literally no discrimination at all if you're asexual.
