I'm still wondering when gatekeeping became a bad thing. Every community needs gatekeeping or it ceases to be a community for it's intended purpose.

Gatekeeping would keep most of these creepy straight people away from the targets of their lusts, that's why.

Good for them really; how to say 'dreamgender is not a thing and we're not countenancing this nonsense' without actually saying 'dreamgender is not a thing and we're not countenancing this nonsense'.

The comments are gold, of course:

All you're doing is causing pain for what appears to be outright evil intent from your side. I hope you receive what you deserve.

Outright evil? There are important discussions to be had on the banality of evil, sure, but I'm not sure this is what anyone has in mind when they use the word 'evil'.

I can't stop thinking about how messed up this is. The LGBTQ+ community doesn't need to "find a balance" as dictated by a single source. There has NEVER been a singular definition for any queer term. We are QUEER, we can't be put in neat little boxes.

Yet the thousands of neat little boxes about pupgender would beg to differ. Beg. Gettit? Like a dog.I'm wasted on you people.

Genuinely anxious about this.

What a charmed life you must lead.

And so it goes on. Honestly, LGB brothers and sisters, make yourself a hot beverage and just read through those comments. It's like a trainwreck of humanity.

I'm loving the comments. These people can't help but shoot themselves in the foot.

Telling the people who are excluding you to "get fucked" is an extremely effective way to convince them that excluding you was the right decision.

@Sannse Stop using the phrase "widely accepted terms" its queerphobic as hell and rooted in homophobia, it literally is telling people to not accept us yet

No, it isn't.

Those comments are...insane. How do these people function, oh wait they probably don't and leech off mom/dad, the government, or both.

As a Human Rights Blogger, Human Rights Handbook Author, and LGBT+ Person; I consider the merging/deleting of LGBTA Wiki(+Others), as well as the demarcation of "Acceptable vs Unacceptable" Gender Identities/Sexual Orientations to be a form of Cultural Genocide. LGBT+ Wikis are a form of Living Cultural Documents that detail out the Intrinsic Qualities and Lived Experiences of the LGBT+ Community. What you are doing is similar to Google's attempt at erasing traditional Armenian Names from their maps/documents, which has already proven to be a form of Cultural Genocide by the Armenian Community.~Unrelenting 8ivion8

Sorry, but erasing the page for “moon gender” is not the same as millions of brutal deaths and rapes.

Legit compared having a made-up gender feelz page deleted to having your culture and people brutalized, raped, forcibly removed, and nearly wiped out... 👀

TW: swears, capital letters, violence

Ah yes, the start of a perfectly sane opinion…

Lmao they would hate to be in an elementary school, being forced by oppressive teachers to use capital letters at the start of each new sentence 😭😭

Imagine being legitimately triggered/upset by seeing a capital letter. These people are beyond help lol.

The goal is for each article to be supported by sources. That's the line we are trying to draw. For example, and in general, if a term is only on social media, then it won't be added.

Do you know just HOW many terms exist only on social media? This is exclusionism of people who have few ways of expressing themselves

Lol if you're identity only exists online... it's not real because it's not based in reality. I wish these people were offered actual mental health support, not gender woo 🙄
