LGB VictoryFandom wiki attempts to restore sanity

You've probably seen the site via their nonsense articles for things like amongusgender and definitions of lesbian that don't include the word 'woman'. Stuff that makes regular LGB (and T) people look ridiculous. Here is their recent announcement, the gist of which is that they plan to take control and 'gatekeep' LGBT related content on the site.

I'm still wondering when gatekeeping became a bad thing. Every community needs gatekeeping or it ceases to be a community for it's intended purpose.

Outright evil? There are important discussions to be had on the banality of evil, sure, but I'm not sure this is what anyone has in mind when they use the word 'evil'.

I can't stop thinking about how messed up this is. The LGBTQ+ community doesn't need to "find a balance" as dictated by a single source. There has NEVER been a singular definition for any queer term. We are QUEER, we can't be put in neat little boxes.

Yet the thousands of neat little boxes about pupgender would beg to differ. Beg. Gettit? Like a dog.I'm wasted on you people.

Telling the people who are excluding you to "get fucked" is an extremely effective way to convince them that excluding you was the right decision.

LGBT+ Wikis are a form of Living Cultural Documents that detail out the Intrinsic Qualities and Lived Experiences of the LGBT+ Community. What you are doing is similar to Google's attempt at erasing traditional Armenian Names from their maps/documents, which has already proven to be a form of Cultural Genocide by the Armenian Community.~Unrelenting 8ivion8

The goal is for each article to be supported by sources. That's the line we are trying to draw. For example, and in general, if a term is only on social media, then it won't be added.

Do you know just HOW many terms exist only on social media? This is exclusionism of people who have few ways of expressing themselves
